Advanced Sound & Communication is a division of Music Supply Inc. and a sister company of Big Dude’s Music City. Big Dude’s Music City is Kansas City’s oldest family-owned music business. It has been an iconic staple to local, regional, and national musicians since 1976. Advanced Sound and Communication was birthed in 1998 out of the need for skilled, reputable installation contractors.

ASC is a design-build firm. We provide customized audio, video, lighting, control, security, and acoustic treatment solutions and service, giving preference to American manufacturers and products. Every situation and budget is different. We are committed to being brand agnostic, selecting the best solutions for your specific situation. We use only the most proven technologies, refusing to gamble your success on the latest gadgets until they are proven.

Our systems are installed and enjoyed where people live, work, worship, play sports, recreate, entertain, exercise, and receive healthcare. We have the ability to create amazing technological experiences in spaces of all types and sizes. ASC provides excellent preventative maintenance, repair, and upgrade services for even the most difficult environments.

ASC is an authorized dealer for our solutions, ensuring warranty repairs will be covered. We have excellent trade references. Our ownership is widely respected in the industry. ASC is a member of AVIXA and the NSCA. Our consulting engineers and technicians are educated and certified in their respective fields of expertise, have decades of contextual experience, and are continuing their educations through manufacturers, SynAudCon, AVIXA, and NSCA courses. All are full-time, insured employees. You will not be liable for workplace injuries to volunteer or student intern laborers. This sets us apart from the competition.
